Hanbit Chi, DDS, is a skilled general dentist at University Place Smiles in University Place, Washington. He has a professional background in pharmacy, in addition to dentistry, as well as many years of experience caring for patients of all ages.
After earning his bachelor’s degree, Dr. Chi received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Loma Linda, California. He maintains his advanced dental credentials with continuing education to ensure his patients receive the most up-to-date care and procedures available.

Dr. Chi chose to work in the field of dentistry after participating in mission trips. He has traveled to numerous areas worldwide on such trips, including Mexico, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Cambodia, and Uganda.
Dr. Chi enjoys completing volunteer services that include free dental days and feeding homeless members of his community. He loves helping other people, especially those in need, with love and compassion.
